Hmmm

Well drawn, good style but unfinished.

Seriously, why does it end so quickly? Why does it not even have a proper ending? The song was... meh. I dunno why you picked Britney's murdering of All I want over the much better Mariah Carrey original (Although, neither artists are exactly desirable these days).

If you'd used the original song and finished the movie - it could have been great. Hell, it could have been Front page material. Sadly, it's barely worth a 3 now.

I'd encourage you to finish it over the next week as possible - to have a completed version by Xmas Eve would be great. ^^

hey thanks for your review. i dont know about britney spears or mariah carey so i didnt even know there was a nother version. but anyway, i think i AM finished lol this movie was suppose to be pointless. i just needed a break from my current flash project which is very long and tiring. i take breaks from time to time and make little stupid flashes and this was one of them. thanks for your review but i'm not adding anymore to this movie. =) merry xmas

Meh

Slightly funny. Could be much, much, much more funnier but it provided a cheap chuckle or two. Not enough to earn it more than about a 2 though.

....

Clock Movies have been made with more skill, talent and humour. I think that says enough to warrant the zero.

Funky

I loved the song, one of my favourite Avril songs in a looong while and Neopets used to take up a fair chunk of my own time. Though really, I think this didn't need THAT much association with Neopets, you don't really need to know anything about them (maybe except for that floating Island) to get this video.

And quite a cunning video it was too, the reversal was just what you wanted and expected but didn't really have the repetition I feared it would. Which is good.

One comment i would have is that maybe a final burst AFTER the credits to go with the end of the song (and the full ending for that matter) may have been a more desirable conclusion but either way, it rocks.

ReporterClock responds:

thing is, it's beens itting around my comp for about two months untouched, and I told mysself I simply HAVE to finish it. after all, it IS my biggest project yet.

Haha!

I luffed it. This is definitely front-page material and if it doesn't make it, there's something really wrong with the front-page. Seriously, an interesting perspective on an every day occurance - it's philosophy damn it! It's damn funny too and the style was really nice.

No one likes pop-ups but even I had to feel sympathy for little pop-eye there. Best thing i've seen all day.

I loved it - show us more

Very fluent sprite animation, interesting idea and nice music. Also, although it was a text based movie - it didn't become annoying at all.

I'd love to see the complete thing.

Novel

A novel idea. Having it loop the ending right back to the beginning fairly effortlessly. Great to see in action but not really worthy of a full movie. As a test for kenetic stuff, great. Works for me. Hopefully you can use it in a full movie next time. I dunno if many others will get the reason WHY it loops but though it doesn't really reach the level of other loopers such as Kenya and Badger Badger, it's a great demonstration of how to use it with a slight of intelligence.

I don't really do much flash work, and what I do have is done with sprites. So... sprites, Pokemon and Sonic... I think that about covers me for at least a third of the hate here. :p
